A Restaurant as a Conducive Meeting Place
A restaurant can be a conducive place for social gathering. This is especially so when it has features and services that suit a certain group of people. The youth, a group to which I belong, would find a well-equipped informal restaurant refreshing. My ideal social meeting place is an affordable informal restaurant with food, music, comfortable seats and fresh atmosphere.
I will open a restaurant that specializes in preparing and selling pizza and burgers. The environment must also be refreshing and entertaining, to capture the interest of my peers.

People need good food and flexible hours and an informal setting to enjoy a restaurant’s services CITATION Mee09 l 1033 (Meehan, 2009). That is exactly what I intend to provide.
For my restaurant to build a name in the business niche, I must first entice potential customers. To get people through the doors, I will do product promotion. Flyers will come in handy. In addition, I will be keen on satisfying all my customers’ needs so that they are willing to become regular customers. Offering quality service will also spread the name of my establishment, enabling me to catch even more customers.
Once the customers get into the restaurant, I will ensure several things are done. First, I will instruct the waiters and waitresses to cordially welcome them all, with dignity and respect. Secondly, some form of entertainment will be available to keep the customers jolly, while waiting to be served. The service itself will also be offered with care and precision, listening to the customer’s needs and communicating clearly and respectfully.
I would need to keep them there for long periods of time. To achieve this, I will have a comfortable sitting arrangement and furniture. Most importantly I will listen to their feedback on the services offered, to keep them coming back.
