To analyze this problem, it is necessary to mention its causes. One of them can become the low self – esteem of which many adolescents suffer, and they feel comforted consuming this substance, another of the possible causes would be to follow the example of a relative smoker (mother, father), the last of the causesthat I consider possible to want to integrate a social group in which most of its members consume tobacco.

Developing

Due to the seriousness of the damage that the act of tobacco consumption in health can cause, education in this area is fundamental. Teenagers who consume it many times do not know the alterations they can cause and do so by fashion or social pressure by placing themselves in a group that if you consume it.

As is commonly known, the nurse in his actions as a teacher, is trained to transmit education through different learning methods among which one of the simplest to carry out is to provide education to people through talks. In this case one of the fundamental points that should be transmitted regarding education is to teach the problems caused by tobacco punctually nicotine.

It is then where, based on the training that nursing possesses, relating it to the chosen issue, the following unknown is awakened.

Foundation

For many years, smoking cases have been increasing more and more year after year above adolescents in adolescents. The role of nursing in this case will aim to provide awareness and education with respect to because tobacco consumption is not good, problems that can trigger consumption factors, etc. This is due to the number of already existential cases and for that number to decrease.

In the formation of nursing, prevention and promotion talks should be issued, in which the problem of tobacco consumption and emphasize the risks that lead to consume tobacco in adolescence is deepened depth. Inform young people about respiratory diseases and vascular problems that can occur in the short or medium term, in which physical integrity may be involved and at risk of death and at the same time investigate issues not only referred to the student who consumes tobaccobut also in your environment (friends, family).

Background of the subject

Thesis on smoking: in the country of Mexico, an investigation was carried out which was entitled "Risk Factors for Tobacco Consumption in Adolescence". This was carried out in 2015 in December and aims to know the prevalence of tobacco consumption in adolescents from 12 to 15 years, its causes and risk factors. Its author is Maria Guadalupe Esmeralda Vazquez Trabiño. This research will serve us by way of understanding to direct the proposal of our theoretical framework. (Trabiño, 2015).

Thesis on smoking: To obtain its title in pedagogy a thesis entitled “Tabaquismo prevention: proposal of workshop for third year students of Secondary Education” was presented ”. Its authors are Bautista Hernández Leticia and Bautista Hernández Octaviano. It was made in 2005 in Mexico. And it will help us to write the survey based on data that can be obtained easily. (Octavian., 2005)

Theoretical framework

Smoking is a disease that causes alterations in the normality of breathing, mostly affecting lungs. It is a chronic disease, which originates from the consumption of nicotine and addiction to the same.

Data thrown by WHO, determine that one of the main causes of death in poorly developed countries is smoking.

A referential number to this is that in Argentina they die every year 40.000 people for this cause.

It is directly related to the appearance of many diseases, fundamentally:

• Different types of cancer: lung, larynx, pharynx, kidney, liver, bladder, among others.
• Cardiovascular diseases: infarction, stroke, aneurysm.
• Respiratory diseases: chronic bronchitis, COPD, and repeated respiratory infections.
• In addition, in women smoking has serious consequences on the reproductive system.

Smoking not only affects the health of smokers, but also the non -smoker who are exposed to tobacco smoke by living with smokers. They are called that because their organism is also affected by the toxins and harmful substances of tobacco smoke.

In particular, this situation is especially harmful to young children in which it can be caused: sudden death of the infant, repetition infections, development and behavioral disorders.

The measures that then the teaching staff of the Superior Nursing Technology must use will be based on providing the education necessary to achieve awareness in young people. Since at the social level many of the solutions that have been sought do not give positive results such as the increase in the price of cigarettes.

With the advances that man has created through his knowledge today, electronic cigarette has developed, which for many smokers is a calm for their addictions and assume that this is less harmful.

Electronic cigarette

It is a device that replaces the common cigarette through which, the smoker, calm its addiction without having highly harmful substances of tobacco for your health.

This device is also known as vaporizer and comes in varied colors with a camera or cartridge that contains a substance that is expelled through varied taste vapor, giving the smoker the possibility that he can choose the appropriate taste.

The cases of tobacco consumption in adolescents have been increasing year after year either by a social fashion, as well as for their own pressures finding the exit of the stress they have in tobacco consumption.

This means that the task that nursing teachers should perform must focus on adolescents thus promoting promotion and prevention in their health.

Methodological design

The next investigation draft presents the following methodological proposals:

Deductive: Through the deduction I suppose that the interventions carried out by nursing teachers are important in terms of the conscience that students take on the subject.

Hypothesis

Ethical considerations

Taking into account the current Professional Ethics Code, clarifying that the researcher author of said research from the problem approach, apply all his knowledge of ethics and bioethics.

Scope of study

The present research work will be carried out with high school students of the High School and Higher School No. 4 DR. Julio Ossola, located on Calle J.J de Urquiza and Bizzoto Street in the city of Rosario del Tala, Province of Entre Ríos. This institution is public, in which numerous students from the city attend as well as nearby towns.

The institution offers professional training careers such as Mathematics, Economy, Special Teacher and Superior Nursing Technology.

The institutional authorities are, its rector is Mr. Santiago Ramos, Academic Secretary Professor Melina Casavecchia and coordinator of the Superior Nursing Technician Echave Maria José (Superior Nursing Technology).

The institution has a Board of Directors composed of teachers and students, a student center, in this case of the night cycle, made up of students from all careers, and with delegates by each course chosen by the vote of the majority.

The institution also shares the professional career cycle with a night secondary, which serves to prepare future professionals, as well as future careers.

In the case of those who are tobacco consumers, awareness is essential since after obtaining it, they will perform their own tasks to avoid increasing their consumption, thus reducing the risks that this disease entails.
