College Admission
As long as I engage my mind, I have dreamed of the computer world. While others see experimentation, engineering and presentation of science practices as a chore, I only find a deep excitement. Even as a child, science-related projects were a precious joy that has grown with me. Most of my life, I have stayed in Kansas. I have gradually gained a deep passion in computer science practices while in these areas, where I wanted to be part of problem-solving in these economically depressed communities. I had carefully examined the globe in terms of technology, and I found that my community is one of the disadvantaged, and they need passionate individuals to help in balancing with the rest of the world. Whenever I join my father’s workplace, I am always motivated by the technological application of radiography that he controls with computers and he is also one of the key people supporting me to achieve my dream.
The Computing industry has become exciting, attractive and prosperous as employers prospects each day. It covers a broad range of modern applications just as my interest in the subject. I look at computer science as a door to new realms of computer technology, where highly demanding and challenging work may harvest equivalent level of rewards.
My knowledge has tremendously grown over the past three years due to the areas and practices offered by the school, and I believe this course, as an opportunity to broaden my knowledge and gain new skills. Particularly, I have an interest in internet and communications, software development, design, and coding.

In school, I have participated in two competitions and one project. The first of which I contributed a lot of ideas that earned high scores for my team in a school competition. This year, through class projects I have managed to develop coding project that I felt I will transform it later to commercial. Three years back, I was also a director for a short term project of a Young Enterprise team where I gained a credit pass, and producing a restaurant brochure that has been my commercial success.
As a student, I am also an active participant in extracurricular and academic activities, and my priority has always inclined to making good grades. My other hobbies are varied equally, including Tennis, Snowboarding, and Paleontology. For three years, I have led my varsity tennis team as the team captain, that has excelled in many competitions. During my holidays and free time, I have also been engaged in volunteer tasks in a hospital run primarily by my uncle. The hospital exposed me to many challenges and different people that through interaction with them, I have gained critical experience. The experience in the facility has provided me with an insight into my interest in this career, other cultures and countries, and most importantly instilling in me an open mind.
For a career, I am looking forward to being involved in this fast developing industry particularly with the internet. And I believe the department in the college will offer me the best environment as it carries a world-class reputation in this course. The combination of the course and the college, is one wise choice that will reward me several advantages for my future career and through the institution, I believe I will achieve the best and enjoy my study in this college.
