Laptops Should Be Allowed In Class
Student’s Name
Institution
Abstract
The report argues that students should be allowed to attend class with their laptops. Attending classes with the laptops will affect learning style positively, providing a more comfortable and faster way of learning, will enable teachers to handle more experiments in class, and the students will also get used to technology at a young age. Compared to handwritten notes, the notes saved in a computer are safe and cannot be destroyed easily. Laptops also provide better storage of information for future reference as compared to handwritten notes that the student can lose at any time. The growth of technology and internet use is the reality in the world. Giving the students the opportunity to learn the use of laptops for purposes of presentation at a tender age will provide them with the necessary skill for the future. They would be managers or businesspersons who can present proposals and business plans. Therefore, laptops should be allowed in classrooms.
Laptops Should Be Allowed in Class
Some of the arguments that are provided on banning laptops use in classrooms include categorizing the devices as a distraction to the learners. Others argue that it could be used to promote cheating or that the students may fail to be social because they would be less communicative. However, even though some of the reasoning may be true, they are not enough to ban students from moving with the growing technology. Students should be allowed to have their laptops while in class.

Wait! Should laptops be banned in class? paper is just an example!

Attending classes with the laptops will affect learning style positively, will provide a more comfortable and faster way of learning, will allow teachers to handle more experiments in class, and the students will also get used to technology at a young age.
Carrying the laptops into the classroom helps the students develop effective means of learning. Students will use the laptops to type notes instead of handwriting them. Typing of notes can be faster compared to writing the notes using the hand (Fried, 2008). The assignment will not be damaged or lost since computers provide the opportunity for the students to save the tasks. The written assignments can be destroyed. The tasks saved using word application offer the students a chance to delete some unwanted information without making the work untidy as the written assignment would be when the learner tries to erase some unwanted information. Therefore, banning of the use of laptops in the classroom could affect the learning of the students negatively.
Laptops provide faster and effective means of learning. The students can prepare and handle assignments faster when using the devices. The use of handwritten notes normally takes a lot of time since the learners will have to draw diagrams, tables or charts. However, the use of apps such as word art helps students to quickly prepare diagrams as well other functionalities that help them attach pictures and draw tables.
Thirdly, when students use laptops while in the classroom, it makes it easier for the teachers to include more practical lessons. The teachers could involve the use of technology to make the class lessons interesting. For example, there are tools such as e-learning platforms that help the teacher call for a conference even when he or she is not available physically. The teachers could also project the assignments rather write the board. The effective use of PowerPoint makes classes interesting for the students (Fried, 2008). Other apps such as Top Hat are useful as the teachers could use them to assign grades to each student for different activities assigned to them.
The use of computers in the classroom helps students familiarize themselves with the technology needed for their future. In the modern days, almost everything is done online. It is essential for the future adults to get used to the devices that they will need in their lives. Constant use of laptops and other technological devices provides the students with the opportunity to learn. They can manage to create attractive presentations that can be used during lessons or shared with other classmates after class lessons.
Therefore, students should be allowed to use laptops in classrooms. The use of these devices will help the students apply effective learning styles, create their assignments faster, help the teachers prepare the students and help the students familiarize themselves with technology at a young age. Therefore, there are more advantages when the students have the laptops in the classroom than when they do not.
