Introduction
The society is made up of people from different backgrounds. Therefore, it is important for people to have a set of rules that guide their interaction. Morals and ethics are applicable in these situations to maintain harmony amongst this diversity. However, some people fail to live by the morals set in their society thereby leading to moral dilemmas in the workplace, schools or other organizations. In spite of these dilemmas, the Seven Step Guide for Ethical Decision Making by Davis has been used as a way of solving the problem.
Moral Dilemma
Moral dilemmas happen in many instances when people interact with one another. I experienced a moral dilemma two years ago in my workplace. I realized that my colleagues were sexually harassed. They used to make sexist comments about others without minding the ethical code that guided the employees. Also, they failed to consider the feelings of the people they used to harass with sexist comments. I found myself in a dilemma after discovering the behaviors of my male colleagues. They were close friends and reporting them to the Human Resource manager would have resulted in severe consequences such as termination or suspension.
Strategy for Solving the Dilemma in a Christian Worldview Perspective
All dilemmas can be solved if all the affected parties are ready to face the challenge head-on. To solve this dilemma in a Christian perspective, I would have engaged my colleagues head-on and explained to them the anguish they were causing the victims of their sexual comments.

I would also have used a neutral party to talk to these co-workers. Being morally upright, the wellbeing of all the workers should have been my priority.
Ethical Theories to Resolve the Dilemma
Various theories apply in the determination of ethical dilemmas. The applications of these principles depend on a wide range of elements that affect the affected parties. In this case, the theory that encompasses rights can be used. The rights theory considers the rights set by society. These rights apply to all members of the society since they are considered ethically right. In this case, all workers in the organization require equal and humanly treatment. The affected parties should have a right to report similar incidents to the company leadership to weed out unwanted characters.
Worldview Implications
The dilemma that I experienced in the workplace has worldview implications. Many people have complained about sexist harassment in their workplaces. An organization should have a conducive environment to enable all employees to work without experiencing the sexist comments. Therefore, from a faith perspective, it is wrong for some employees to expose others to sexist comments. There is no justification why a person should discriminate others based on sex because nobody chooses their gender.
Code of Conduct Based on the Six Pillars of Character
The company expects all employees to abide by this code of conduct when performing their chores without fail.
All employees are expected to be trustworthy in their duties. This pillar stipulates that no employee should cheat or steal from the organization (“The Six Pillars of Character® – CHARACTER COUNTS!”, 2018). All workers are expected to be loyal.
All employees are expected to work peacefully and respectfully. All employees are equal to each other, which calls for tolerance to foster respect and harmony.
All employees are expected to be responsible during their working hours. Due diligence, self-discipline, and accountability are encouraged.
All employees are required to act reasonably in the organization premises. They should be open-minded and avoid taking advantage of each other.
All employees are supposed to be caring for each other as well as the clients. They should express gratitude and assist others in need.
Finally, the firm’s management board expects all employees to be loyal citizens who respect authority, obey the laws of the country and work hard to improve the lives of fellow citizens.
PART 2: RESOLUTION STRATEGY
Respect for people based on their diversity is essential for all organizations. From the dilemma, in part one; some employees were using sexuality to demean others. Sexuality is a God-given diversity that no individual chooses. To resolve this moral dilemma, Davis’s Seven-step advice can be applied. First, it is essential to outline the problem. In this matter, the dilemma was sexual. This will be important because people will know what transpires in the workplace. Identifying the problem is the first step in solving a problem. Secondly, it is essential to analyze the facts of the case to know the truth. This enables the determination of the truth to focus on the important areas therefore saving time. Thirdly, it is essential to identify the people involved as well as the regulations in question. This enables those accused to face disciplinary action. It also leads to the exoneration of the innocent, thereby avoiding witch hunt in the workplace.
The fourth step involves brainstorming whereby alternatives to the problem are identified (Davis, 1999). Brainstorming allows the formation of many alternatives, thereby giving a large pool of ideas to help solve the problem. Being a matter that involved sexist comments, the alternatives have to be those that focused on solving similar dilemmas. The next step involves testing the alternatives identified by considering their impacts. After all the other options are tested, it is crucial to choose the most appropriate option to solve the dilemma. In this case, the management will decide on whether to suspend or terminate the guilty employees. Finally, it is advisable to review all the steps taken to identify any gaps that may be present. This will lead to prevention of occurrence of similar cases. The characters of the employees in the organization should be regulated by prescribing a code of conduct based on the six pillars of character. The organization should also create mechanisms to ensure the employees learn the importance of a code of conduct in maintaining ethics in the workplace.

Conclusion
A society without morals and ethics cannot survive as one unit for an extended period. Therefore, it is important for the establishment of a set of morals that guide people on how to conduct themselves. This can be done by creating a code of conducts in organizations to regulate people’s interactions. When the accurate instruments are put in place, moral dilemmas will be avoided. However, putting the correct mechanisms is not the only remedy for moral dilemmas; they should be supported by following the set moral standards.
