Statement of Teaching Philosophy
Increasing the desire to learn new skills and concepts has been my core goal in the field of teaching. I have the mandate of cultivating learning among all the students who are known to be operating under different capabilities. The diverse nature of the students’ capability to grasp new ideas provides educators with the task of increasing their teaching tactics (Goodyear, 2010). As an educator, I, therefore, ensure that I provide information that is succinct and that which can be mastered with ease by the learners.

The varying needs of students have made me to provide an environment that is conducive for learning. For the students’ performance to increase, they need to have secure learning environments, and this can help them increase their social, physical and intellectual facets. All these can only be possible if the students are encouraged to share ideas and also feel free to make requests and inquiries from all educators. It is my belief that my personal engagement with the students has made them achieve more in their various areas of learning.
My mandate as an educator not only lies in the areas of assisting the students, but also ensuring different tools and frameworks that are crucial for learning. The tools have become an important part of learning as they ensure that all personalities and styles of learning are accommodated. Previously, I have been in a position of using those tools effectively to advance the nature of learning.

Some of the tools that were in use included worksheets, handouts, outlines, and assignments. The tools and frameworks increased my interaction with the students who were able to understand their lessons, as I was also able to communicate effectively and help them achieve their set goals.

Moreover, I have been providing different vital materials needed for learning, while encouraging feedback from students a concept that has helped them cope with life after school in the job market. The interactive nature of my teaching has helped the students to participate effectively in all school matters, and this has helped them to endure different challenges that are critical for life. I have also ensured increased critical thinking capabilities through group discussions, case studies, storytelling, role-play and many other facets that ensure sharing of information and ideas leading to increased learning.

Through effective communication, I have managed to strengthen my relationship with all the learners, and this has led to positive feedback through various success stories. I always provide direction when communicating with the learners as a way of giving them guidelines that are essential for learning. I also provide clear and concise information through assignments and other learning modalities, and this have helped the students to increase their intellectual development as a whole. Understanding learners’ needs in the learning process assists me to know the curriculum to use to accommodate all the learners simultaneously.
I have endeavored to improve my level of learning by reading more information on the learning process to be able to counter all the learners’ problems with ease. Through my experiences and future capabilities, I have also endeavored to increase my confidence level in front of learners to ensure increased participation.

In conclusion, I will make use of different methods that can increase learners’ attention and commitment to learning to ensure a fully developed individual after school. I will also share my personal experiences as an educator to all my learners so that they can appreciate the profession and desire to become better in future. My desire is to be the best educator who can foster the best learning capabilities to all that are under my care.
