Technology’s exponential growth in both development and adoption has altered the manner in which society communicates in a variety of ways. Mobile and web-based applications found on smartphones have been noted as the first location readers visit when attempting to locate breaking news (AU Online Programs). Furthermore, corporations can no longer rely on standard advertising to generate revenue for their products and services. Instead, they implement big data mined from various social networks to deliver targeted digital ads to the customers that are statistically most likely to purchase. If controversial behavior ensues, customers are far more likely to trust PR news from their families, friends, and sources on social media than they are the companies themselves; allowing for greater room for integrity (AU Online Programs).
The purpose of a subject line in an email is to quickly summarize the point of communication, whose primary information is found in the body of the message.
