A good alternative in self-learning could be to schematize what is being read to achieve a better understanding since if we see it thoroughly reading it is not only to decipher a text but to use all linguistic functions such as speech, listening, writing and assimilation ofmemorizable knowledge.

Reading understanding will always be the starting point to access critical thinking. It is not possible to critically assume a text that is part of reality if it has not been fully interpreted;this is, if its content, its purpose and its global sense has not been recognized. Reaching the meaning is the only path that allows, following the dialectical model, taking the distance necessary to qualify its substance.

The analysis must be understood, in turn, as the possibility of examining the ideas that arise from the object of interpretation. The objective is to identify and understand the components that integrate the text. It is thanks to the analysis that the interpreter manages to demonstrate the way in which all the elements are related to each other.

Evaluation as critical exercise

The evaluation represents, by itself, the critical exercise par excellence, because with it an assessment of the statements and the arguments are achieved. It is important to emphasize that any judgment must always be accompanied by objective foundations, capable of supporting the theses and subjective appreciations involved in the valuations. It is through the evaluation that the student gives an account of their criteria when assessing the content or materiality of a text. That is, what he says and how he says.

Autonomous learning is the power to direct, control, regulate and evaluate the individual way of learning consciously and intentionally using various learning strategies.

self-learning provides the possibility of learning to learn by being more aware of its cognition process, that is, carrying out cognition meta processes that is a process that refers to the knowledge or awareness of the mental processes themselves on how you learn and control of the domaincognitive about your way of learning.

To get a person to learn autonomously, a teacher is not needed, on the contrary this will be the support to achieve true knowledge of the learning style of learning. The student must learn for the pleasure of doing so and for the own interest in achieving something and for this nothing better than the teacher to motivate him, to put challenges and to make his learning solid.

Autonomous learning is the ultimate goal of education that is achieved when the person becomes able to think for himself with critical sense.
