Vigilants and instinct forces

Introduction

Do we break the norm by instinct or circumstance? Some authors claim that it is for the instinct of cruelty and perversion that we have, since we are heirs of a great generation of murderers. Allan Poe reflects on the persistent mania of humans to do just the opposite of what is expected of them perversity instinct. In his story the demon of perversity defines the force that human instinct has when breaking with the norm. Although, it is in certain minds and under certain circumstances, when it becomes absolutely irresistible.

Developing

Sigmund Freud elaborated the following thesis: in our unconscious, we all remain, even today, a band of murderers man is bad by nature. Human beings have a destructive instinct, a primitive and wild impulse that never disappears, but remains asleep to wake up abruptly when we least expect it. In situations where survival is threatened, people will be more likely to behave aggressively.

Luther said that the man and more the woman, since she was demonized for centuries by the Church feels inevitably attracted to evil, because humans are sinners. We break with the norm because we have an innate predisposition to do so, although it will depend on the circumstances that we do or not. Therefore, there is no essential difference between criminals and respectable citizens, since, basically, anyone could become a criminal if the appropriate circumstances were given. Two conditions are necessary to break with the norm:

Wait! Vigilants And Instinct Forces paper is just an example!

  • An object of desire is needed
  • There are no guards

Let’s add an extra condition not considered a condition by many criminologists because they say that consciousness is not so important, in addition to the fact that many do not have. This is the moral condition, called the voice of consciousness, which leads us for the good or bad path. It is impossible to guess who has the voice of consciousness and who does not, but Bauman elaborated a clue to find out: we cannot forecast if someone is sensitive to the suffering of others, although surely the degree varies depending on the type of relationship that one one one of them. The stronger the affective ties with a person, the more supportive you will be with her.

The condition for a person does not cause suffering the pain of the other is the ignorance of said person. There is currently more globalization for what there are more objects of desire and we have a greater ease to find and achieve what you want, or something that resembles it. Global society favors material and moral conditions for the rupture of norms.

On the other hand, the vigilantes that monitor the objects of desire have increased, which means that the space to be monitored has grown. So the proportion of non -monitored space or with few vigilantes has also increased, and crimes can continue to be committed. In addition, we have a virtual space in which almost everything that is done in physical space can be done, but with less surveillance. Personal relationships have evolved and there is less in the voice of consciousness. There are four types of relationships:

  • Visible acquaintances: a friend with whom I speak in person.
  • Invisible known: talking to my mother who is in another city other than mine is distance.
  • Visible strangers: El Corte Inglés dependent.
  • Invisible strangers: chat online with a person you don’t know.

conclusion

Felson with the fallacy of non-me makes us question why we find it difficult to recognize that we break with the norm and why we tend to see each other better than we are. Maybe it is because our mind tends to erase all the information that painfully caresfully attempts against the ideal image that we have formed of ourselves.
