Why do you want to obtain your high school diploma?

Importance of A High School DiplomaA high school diploma is vital to every child and parent. Most parents believe that education is the key to success which I consider to be true. The high school diploma will serve as proof of my level of education to employers and higher education institutions.
I can further my studies after graduating from high school. The high school certificate is the first step that will allow me to entrance to a higher education institution and this will enable me register in any course that I will love. Without high school credentials, a person cannot be enrolled in any higher education institute. Secondly, having a high school diploma will build my confidence before my peers and young ones. The high school diploma will make my parents feel proud of my achievement. I will be an excellent example to the young ones who look up to me as their role model (Tiffany 2).
When I obtain a high school diploma, it is easier to get entry-level jobs. Most employers prefer workers with a high school diploma more than those without the high school diplomas. No one is comfortable living in poverty, and therefore, the high school diploma will act as a baseline for a better future. Most of the employers conclude that the high school dropouts will face challenges working in their companies and that is the reason why people with a high school diploma have a higher chance of acquiring employment. With a high school diploma job security is higher as compared to when I do not have one because my chance of losing a job when a more qualified person is employed will be high.

The high school diploma will enable me to get better jobs that will earn me a reasonable wage. Most people without high school diplomas are paid low salaries that do not correspond with the work they do. With a high school diploma, I will be able to get a better job and furthering my studies will increase the chances of an even better job (Tiffany 1). Having a high school diploma means that I have learned a lot. The knowledge that I have attained throughout high school will be useful in my life. Acquiring more knowledge implies that my reasoning capabilities will change for the better. Most people want to be associated with a person who has at least a high school diploma and acquiring one will strengthen my social ties with other people in the society (Tiffany 2).
In conclusion, the high school diploma is an essential document that will indicate the completion of many basics required when one wants to further their studies, in workplaces and life in general.
