Self-Concern
Concern is some anxiety which makes an individual be interested in getting involved in some affair. It is some kind of want to know more or help attitude in a person. In my opinion, people living in the society should be more concerned with themselves than other people. My primary reason behind that argument is attributed to the fact that self should always be first then the rest. Also, by being concerned with themselves than others, it means that they are responsible and hardworking as they do not have the time to get concerned with other people.
Apparently, self-esteem forms the basis of being concerned with one’s self. It is very evident that once a person has developed positive self-esteem on him/herself, then it is sporadic for such a person to give much attention to other people’s issues. With low self-esteem, the personality of an individual is likely to reduce with some even going to the extent of giving up on major issues. Additionally, give less concern to other people encourages hard work as one gets to mind his/her own business thus not getting affected by what others say about the individual (Korsgaard et al., 2015).
Hastings et al., (2006) emphasize the fact that personal love is paramount for one to develop a positive sense of belonging and personal acceptance. As much as people argue that love is an affection that is shared by two or more people, individual love comes first. Loving yourself is one way of directly implying that you have accepted yourself and its known that acceptance is the first step to healing.

Wait! Write an essay explaining whether people should be more concerned about others than themselves paper is just an example!

Primarily, it is the love of self that shows individual concern and giving less attention to the concern for the others in the community. Through giving more concern to oneself, many cases of personal degradation and self-hate are likely to be avoided. Once they decide to be lured into the information pressures, individuals easily lose hope and see no value in life thus leading to such cases of murder and suicide. It is therefore paramount to put yourself first before the others (Lawford et al., 2017).
In addition to that, self-concern creates self-confidence in a person. There is nothing as key in a person’s life as the confidence of self. It is simply believing in yourself even when others think you are not worth it. Such confidence can make an individual move many steps in life by getting involved in many projects and activities that others perceive to be impossible. Additionally, confidence helps one to always be on the positive side of life even when things seem not to be working out expectedly.
However, it should not be misunderstood that being more concerned with oneself than others refers to being carefree about the other individuals and even despise them. A morally self-concerned person who puts self-interests first but at the same time is willing and ready to step in for the neighbors in the times of need. It is all about giving yourself more priority than considering others later.
In conclusion, it is moral in the society to co-exist happily by being concerned with not only yourself but also being ready to listen to and help the others in the society. However, the concern for an individual should come first to ensure high self-esteem and personal love.
