Even though I have been writing for almost two years now, I still hold on to the memory of the whole writing process till date. Writing has not been such an easy process because a myriad of factors made the whole exercise challenging. Despite all the struggles and for the first time ever when I was required to write a large and a very engaging paper, I realized I was compelled to reflect on a lot of things that I had to put down first in order to come up a with presentable work. Writing is a process which requires conceptualizing, the need to read, ground plan and integrate ideas or points to be on the safe side. That is why I come up with a restructured plan that would help me reflect on my future as an academic writer. The first step is understanding that every essay has a structure or a general format which includes an introduction, the body and a conclusion to sum up the ideas of the work (Capella University, 2018).
Everyday writing is going to help me focus on word counts because I will be writing a certain number of words within a specific time frame, and at the end, I will be in a position to write more. The next approach, writing first and edit later, ensues after meeting my word count goals, and with this, I will be able to maximize my writing time (Deans, 2002). Protecting my writing time later follows and this is recognizing the most inventive time that I can get during the day for my writing. This entails making it a norm and treating that time very important like it is an appointment that I can’t afford to miss.

Wait! Writing Reflection paper is just an example!

The final and most important thing would be to revise my work first to make sure I have all my facts right, and that it is not just a horde of facts that I have unsystematically fixed on the paper. It is also worth to proofread the paper to correct all grammatical and punctuation errors which I did not notice when writing.
