Introduction
Capital punishment is a judicial process involving the death penalty as a legal sentence due to one’s crime. The death penalty can only be given by the country’s judicial system hence any other person, who commits this will be guilty of murder. Different states define crimes that are liable to this method of punishment, therefore, creating a discrepancy, but murder remains a common crime experiencing capital penalty. Various opinions are present where some support capital punishment while others are against it and this paper therefore disagrees with the application of the death penalty through explanations given below.
Capital Punishment
I disagree with the post because I believe there are other forms of punishment applicable for reprehensible crimes like murder. Most judicial systems give this irrevocable punishment based on the defense strategies provided, thus they may execute innocent people. Capital punishment should not be utilized as some judicial processes are inefficient. The death methods used are inhuman as they inflict pain and due to this other suitable punishments, like life sentence, should be applied. According to an article by Amnesty International (2018), the death penalty does not help in reducing crime, when compared to other punishment forms. Some offenders commit crimes due to mental incapacitation and thus application of death penalty will be unfair, because this group of people needs psychological help.

The death penalty is implemented in front of general population which is a violation of their worth and also a terrorizing moment for family members.
Conclusion
I believe other forms of punishment are more effective since offenders are given an opportunity to change and they can also be used to advice the general public against crime, therefore, decreasing crime rates. No reasons can justify the act of taking a person’s life and thus capital punishment is inappropriate. The sentiments that life imprisonment is a waste of resources is incorrect as it aids in bettering offenders through programs present in prisons thus offenders can be used for community work.
