The war between Muslim extremists and the West has ravaged over centuries. Terrorism acts became common in the United States especially during the end of the 20th century. A case in point, the 1997 Brooklyn bombing plot by suspected Palestinian immigrants, Gaze Ibrahim Abu Mezer and Lafi Khalil . Four years later the New York came to a standstill after the destructive 9-11 attack. Osama Bin Laden, the founder of the jihadist group Al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attacks. 2996 people died and over 6000 injured. Four years later there was the attack on two American embassies, one in Kenya and in Tanzania. Two separate bombs were triggered simultaneously, two hundred people lost their lives, and Osama Bin Laden led the Al-Qaeda Jihad group and claimed responsibility for the attack. A campaign referred to as “the war on terror” was later initiated by the United States to combat the increased attacks made on their soils. It was meant to be a way of ensuring the safety of all Americans and a show of dominance against the Jihad groups.
Jihad groups have a tendency constantly focusing their attacks on western countries with those with a stable democracy1. The United States has been described as a beacon of freedom and opportunity in the world, and still experience more rates of terrorism threats as opposed to the autocratic states, such as China and N. Korea, that have had minimal terrorism threats. The mindset of a jihad is that death is a price that has to be paid by those living on equality, freedom, and justice1.

Wait! CRIMINALJUSTICE paper is just an example!

The American war on terrorism has been arduous and costly, but gradually, a change in tactics will ultimately ensure the United States claims a victory on terrorism.
