This serves as an indicator that the internet bolsters interpersonal communication that knows no age boundaries. Moreover, social media has also made computer-mediated communication gain use widely thus providing an alternative channel. However, use of social media has seen the misuse of work time and brought up privacy rights issues.
On the other hand, human resource managers target excellent interpersonal skills when hiring due to their association with personal communication. The attributes also have an association with the face-to-face method of communication that helps in the development of closer working relationships and easier dissemination of information related to work.
