Introduction
Dwight David Eisenhower was a statesman and army general in the United States of America. He became the 34th president of the states of America from the year 1953 to 1961 (Holl 133). He managed to be the first president of America to be obliged to 22nd amendment that was on the limitation of the maximum terms a president could serve in the office. David Dwight Eisenhower was born in Denison, Texas and brought up in Kansas Pennsylvania Dutch family ancestry. Dwight’s parents were religious and his mother was a Lutheran and got married as a River Brethren, though she later changed to Jehovah’s Witness. After Dwight graduation from his military career in 1915, he married Mamie Doud and conceived two sons with her. In 1941 by the time he became a brigadier he had served under many generals. He successful invaded North Africa during world war two. In 1951 to 1953 he was NATO’s 1st supreme commander (Maye 3).
Dwight’s accomplishments while on the presidency
According to Maye, (3), Eisenhower vied for the presidency as a Republican in 1952 for the first time with an aim of deterring the policies of Senator Robert that he perceived foreign. He defeated Adlai Stevenson II both in 1952 and 1956, emerging to be the first elected Republican president since the year 1928 (Maye 3). In 1953, he deterred nuclear weapons use until nations like China harmonized to POWS terms in the war of Korea. He assisted the French to fight off Vietnam during the 1st Indochina war through his administration.

Eisenhower gave support to local military soldiers against Guatemala and Iran nations (Nicholis 210). Nicholis (211) indicates that in 1956 Suez crisis; Dwight condemned the French, Israeli and British attack on Egypt and coerced them to withdraw. In the same year during the revolution of Hungary, he also convicted the Soviet invasion despite his failure to take action. In the year 1957, he authorized NASA establishment following the launch of Sputnik by the Soviet Union. Reports also documented that in the 1958 Lebanon crisis; Eisenhower deployed about 15,000 men for war. Before leaving his seat in 1961, he insisted that it is crucial to empower the military adequately but cautioned on military expenditures that could endanger the lifestyle of people. On 1969 March 28, he died after being ill for a long time (Nicholis 225).

During his leadership, he accomplished much, for instance, conviction of the Soviet Union and invasion of North Africa. Finally, Dwight Eisenhower died in 1969 (Nicholis 225).
