The healthy people 2020 have some of the goals that need to be achieved. In relation to the parish nurse, some of the amenable objectives that will fulfill their intervention would include having a longer life that is accompanied by high-quality health. The other objective would be achieving quality health as they ensure that there is an improvement of healthcare for everyone (“Healthy People – HP2020”, 2017). The parish nurses would also aim at creating a better environment that leads to good health for the people living in it. And also it promotes a good health and character of the people at different stages of their lives.
Since the faith community nursing is composed of professionals in the nursing sector as well as the health ministry, their duty is mainly based on the healing and ensuring that there is good health to the individuals in the faith community (Bachhuber, 2006). These emphases will help them to fulfill these objectives effectively. The faith community nurses together with the parish nurses have a joint effort that is aiming at the healing and the promotion of health in the faith community thereby increasing the achievement of the objectives.
The nurses working in the community can join hand with the parish nurses to help them reach out some of the areas that don’t get enough services from the nursing sectors. The parish nurses can chip in to educate these individuals concerning the health factors and some of the activities they can do to make sure that their environment is capable of supporting good health (Cipriano, 2014).

The partnership can also be done by ensuring that underserved populations are reached to so that they get informed about some diseases such as HIV/AIDS. The partnership will help in the division of labor. And also it will ensure that everybody is adequately served (Bachhuber, 2006). There will also be a creation of awareness among the underserved communities.
