Crusades are regarded as a series of the military expeditions that were made by Europeans in efforts to get back Holy Land from the Muslims in the 11th century. The crusades had a significant impact on the current relations between the Christians and the Muslim. During the first and the subsequent crusades, many lives were lost. The question that has been bothering individuals is how people who considered themselves as Christians could kill the non-believers. However, it is important to note that the purpose of the Crusade was to reclaim the Christian land that had been captured by the Muslim army. Contrary to the opinion of many people, the first Crusade was not concerned with the forceful conversion of the people to Christianity.
The article by Kevin DeYoung is quite insightful. The author has skillfully brought to light some of the issues of the Crusades and Christian-Muslim relationship that are usually overlooked. For instance, the misconception on the subject of holy war has been cleared out. The First Crusaders managed to conquer Jerusalem and Antioch which were parts of the Holy Land that had been occupied by the Muslims in the 11 Century. The other issue that the article has discussed is the reason why we should not be misjudge the Muslim extremists. It is helpful for people regardless of their religion to think properly and determine the things that are worth dying for and fighting for.

Wait! History Essay paper is just an example!

The discussion was successful since the author has shed light on the issues that have been misconceived for over a millennium. It has been a common assumption that Islam is a violent religion which may not entirely be true. I do agree with the author that we should take the time to evaluate who the real enemy is rather than fight for something that is not worth. The author is well-informed and resourceful hence making the information presented reliable (DeYoung, 2015). References

First of all, I want to say that these guys have pretty affordable prices. I asked them to write a compare-and-contrast essay and was really impressed with the final cost and, what is even more important, the level of quality.
