The monologue Paraphrase
‘O pardon me, thou bleeding piece of earth, / That I am meek and gentle with these butchers! / Thou art the ruins of the noblest man / That ever lived in the tide of times. / Woe to the hand that shed this costly blood! / Over thy wounds now do I prophesy / (Which like dumb mouths do ope their ruby lips / To beg the voice and utterance of my tongue), / A curse shall light upon the limbs of men; / Domestic fury and fierce civil strife / Shall cumber all the parts of Italy; / Blood and destruction shall be in use, / And dreadful objects so familiar, / That mothers shall but smile when they behold / Their infants quartered with the hands of war, All pity chocked with custom of feel deeds; / And Caesar’s spirit, ranging for revenge, / With Ate by his side come hot from hell, / Shall in these confines with a monarch’s voice / Cry “Havoc,” and let slip the dogs of war, / That this foul deed shall smell above the earth / With carrion men, groaning for burial” The author has noted that he should be pardoned for having some piece of the earth. This does ruin the noblest person and hence woe to the hand which does shed the most costly form of blood. There is the curse that is believed to be possibly a huge cause for domestic violence all through as such. Anthony, in this case, is apostrophizing to the corpse of Caesar just after he had also been slain plus all of the conspirators had already left as at that time as well. He also seems to be making friends with some conspirators when even in reality he gets to loathe them as such (Caesar, Pp.

21-45). Anthony at the same time also predicts that there is likelihood to have a civil war into the future between the conspirators and the new Triumvirate.
Part 2
This is a piece of art that was done by Julius Caesar and the main thing that was discussed through this whole poem was the essence of collaboration and good community living amongst the people. There are a lot of senses that are made across the whole poem which are a key explanation as to the fact that the author intended to promote peace amongst and that he had also appreciated the fact that this could have also led to war amongst people through this whole time as such (Caesar, Pp. 34-56).
In this passage “Look, in this place ran Cassius’ dagger through; / See what a rent the envious Casca made; / Through this the well-beloved Brutus stabbed, / And as he plucked his cursed steel away, / Mark how the blood of Caesar followed it, / As rushing out of doors, to be resolved / If Brutus so unkindly knocked, or no; / For Brutus, as you know, was Caesar’s angel” there a lot of things that are all set straight. In this case, Anthony is even speaking to the Roman people during Caesar’s funeral. He even gets to go ahead of the corpse and speaks about the dead man. In his metaphor, he tries to compare Caesar to an angel and simile also simply compares Caesar bleeding to people going out of the doors as such. He even uses the statement “cursed steel” which is considered to be a synecdoche, which does use a part of something to refer to the whole item as such (Caesar, Pp. 21-34).
At the end of it all, one thing that we can agree about is the fact that the author here really looks to address the main issue of peace and proper welfare. We must all ensure that we maintain the good rapport between people just as the author has set it out through this whole research.
