How Comic Strips Convinced Me to Read Everything
You introduce your thesis articulately at the beginning of your paper, why reading is important in one`s life. You provide a proper background of the reading culture in your family when you state that you came from a family of avid readers with access to a multitude of books, in the first paragraph. However, you start with your argument before providing a context for it, which in my opinion dulls the reader`s curiosity to read through the paper. It would have been more thought-provoking in the reader`s mind to place your argument at the end of the paper.
The comparison between the Harry Porter novels versus the movie enhances the thesis very well. When you say “My aunt, an avid reader that she was, had read all the books the movies had been made after. She insisted upon me repeatedly to read the copies, arguing that they were better than the movies by a wide margin,” in the second paragraph of the second page, you provide a supporting argument that compliments the thesis. The lack of interest in reading is clearly spelled out in the same paragraph when you write, “My abstinence was oft considered my folly as a child, cited by parents and teachers alike as to why I’d only struggle in academics for the entirety of my education.”
The third and fourth paragraphs in pages three and four respectively show the transition from a struggling reader to an avid one. The librarian helped you in making this transition by recommending you read a comic, which makes a good point that if one gets a good read that interests them, then reading becomes fun and enjoyable.

Wait! Literacy Narrative Reader Response paper is just an example!

The name of the librarian at the conclusion of the paper would have added a more realistic feel to it. The title is a bit too long and not catchy enough. Otherwise, the paper is well concluded, re-affirming that all forms of reading are important. Your thoughts are well developed and structured chronologically and take on a good tone.

First of all, I want to say that these guys have pretty affordable prices. I asked them to write a compare-and-contrast essay and was really impressed with the final cost and, what is even more important, the level of quality.
