Introduction
The debate surrounding the legalization of marijuana has attracted the attention of many scholars over the recent past. In most instances, researchers have attributed the concept of legalizing marijuana to adverse effects among its users. Indeed the act of smoking marijuana should not be cheered in our contemporary societies. This is because its disadvantages outweigh its benefits. Some of the deduced outrageous effects of legalizing marijuana include an increase in crime, trafficking, and chronic health-related issues. This essay presents three concerns as to why bhang should not be legalized.

Wait! Marijuana should not be legalized paper is just an example!

This aspect will answer the question like what are the three primary arguments or reasons against the legalization of cannabis. These reasons include clinical concerns, lack of sufficient parameters to police its usage, and enormous effects on electric grids and environmental conservation.
Why marijuana should remain illegal and prohibited.
An enormous drain on electric grids and environmental: how can the consumption of marijuana jeopardize the usage of electricity and sustainable environmental conservation? It is of importance to understand what can result to our country’s electric grid as well as environmental prosperity if legalization of marijuana cannot be stopped. The recent research from scientist has depicted that indoor growing of marijuana accounts for approximately one percent of the total nation’s consumption of electricity (Williams n.pag). This percentage reflects a total of $6 billion annually as used by only eight states that had legalized marijuana. It is, therefore, clear that legalization of marijuana would definitely overwhelm the country’s electric grid. Conversely, the outdoor growing of cannabis adversely affects the environment like wildlife.
Insufficient parameters to regulate marijuana use: conceptualize this by analyzing a simple question like the one stated below. How can the federal state regulate the consumption of marijuana to determine the level of impairment among its users? It has been evidenced that insufficient parameters to regulate whether one is over or under the limit of marijuana usage render enforcement a nightmare. It is difficult to determine the psychoactive level of marijuana that can tell whether its users are impaired or not. Such insufficient regulations and parameters make it possible to stop the legalization of marijuana.
Clinical concerns: it should be noted that there are various health effects resulting from smoking marijuana. Now, what are some of the health-related effects of smoking marijuana? The recent research has shown that there is a sharp decline in short and long-term memory among the heavy users of marijuana. Ideally, marijuana adversely affects the brains of the users. However, there is still a gap in knowledge as far as its long-term effects are concerned. Therefore, Marijuana should not be legalized (Williams n.pag).
In conclusion, it is true that legalization of marijuana should not be an option to look at since it is contrary to the expectation of our societies. Most importantly it results in adverse effects such as health, overwhelming of the electric grid and environmental. Conversely, the fact that there exist insufficient parameters to regulate its use gives a vivid reason why it should not be legalized.
