Romberg test
Romberg test is the conventional method used in quantifying balance. In my opinion, it is the best assessment test because it is not a difficulty at all and can be adjusted to fit most of the patients. In addition, the Romberg test can be applied anywhere because it does not need equipment at all, thus making it be the suitable assessment test for postural control. The analysis also uses simple procedures in conducting it. The patient removes footwear’s and will stand upright (Lundy-Ekma, 2008).
