Personal reflection on the meaning of life

Throughout this document I will explain what the meaning of life means to me, taking into account the opinions of different philosophers, but especially of Aristotle, in order to better imply my opinion and belief of this.

In addition, I will describe what the things that motivate me are to continue with my day to day, taking into account that I do my activities in order that I will continue to fulfill the goals that I have raised throughout my life, here I will take into account The opinion of the psychologist Víctor Frankl.

Another question that I will solve in my reflection is how free I have felt when doing my life plan, taking into account that this plan is still in development, here I will quote the philosopher Teofrasto, follower of Aristotle. And finally, I will talk about what philosophical posture is the one that describes and agrees better with what I think, here I will return to Aristotle to better imply what I want to answer to that question.

The philosophical question that has most transcended and conflicted to many is the meaning of the sense of human life, although many philosophers have answered this question very similar to each other, for others the answer can be very different depending on each person.

For me the meaning of the meaning of life is to find someone or something that makes you happy, but to achieve this we must first be happy with ourselves. Being satisfied with ourselves is key to finding the meaning of our life, support what I believe with what Aristotle said between 384 to.

Wait! Personal Reflection On The Meaning Of Life paper is just an example!

C and 322 A. C "Happiness depends on ourselves". Aristotle believed that happiness was something that we all pursue and that this can be achieved in many ways.

Anyway, the meaning of life is personally, first being happy with oneself and then finding something or someone who makes you even happier and more satisfied. If we take a job for example, to be happy with this first we must be happy with ourselves so that the execution of the work is optimal and that in the future we can share the knowledge of this.

Definitely what motivates me to do all my activities is that when I finish what I do this will bring me satisfaction and happiness.

In addition, I know that every time I finish something, however simple, it contributes to meet the goals that I have proposed, either since years ago or recently. Being one of my goals find something or someone who makes me happy and satisfied with my life.

Something that also motivates me to simply with my life is to know that with every day that passes many opportunities are approaching that will help me to meet my goals and although I know that there will be changes that I will not like I know that they will give me wisdom. Víctor Frankl, psychologist and survivor of the Holocaust, said: “When we are not able to change a situation, we face the challenge of changing ourselves."

What Víctor Frankl said is a clear example personally of what he wanted to raise. In our life, changes will occur that many times do not depend on us but that needs to happen and I like to think that as everything changes around us we also change, obviously in order to adapt to our environment, however, I also believe that Al There are changes around us, we change to learn from it, learn from the people around us and learn about ourselves.

Starting from the above, I want to add that when we learn from ourselves we are also learning from our mistakes. Personally I tend to highlight all my mistakes unconsciously and although at first I thought this was something negative for me and that if I did this I could never be happy and satisfied with myself, I realized that if I noticed those errors I could also improve what He had done wrong. This is another factor that motivates me to continue doing my activities.

My life project was obviously built with my family, especially my parents. However, I am sure that these influences were what guided me to build my plan in the most realistic, attainable and measurable way possible.

From this I want to mention Teofrasto, a philosopher who was a follower of Aristotle. This continuous philosopher with the postures and beliefs of Aristotle, however also theoreto and development ideas and own postures as is the following appointment: “Time is the most valuable thing that man can spend.”With this appointment I want to hold my opinion on how to do my life project can be something late and that’s why I should not worry and demand so much so that this is perfect.

This is why I think that if I feel free when creating my life project and I know that these influences were advice that I took into account unconsciously to create it in the best way and include the most important people in my life. And although I know that I must finish each stage of my project I know that dedicating so much time is not the best and that I must let things follow their course so that the changes that occur do not affect me negatively.

After reflecting on what the meaning of life for me was and investigating a little more about different philosophers, I realized that I agree with Aristotle’s position and thought. Among everything he transmitted to his disciples and wrote, the next appointment describes better what I want to imply: "The goal of the human being is to be fully happy, […]".  Since as I mentioned, being happy is one of my most desired goals since I think that is a key factor to achieve them.

In this reflection I wanted to imply what the meaning of life was for me, arguing my opinion with the thoughts of Aristotle and with personal experiences. To recapitulate, the meaning of life for me is to be happy with oneself so that throughout our lives we can find someone or something that makes us happy, and even achieve the happiness of a person.

In addition, I mentioned everything that motivates me to do the things I do to achieve all the measurable, realistic and attainable goals that I propose, taking into account all the factors around me and what can I do to move forward, in order to fulfill With my most important and significant goals for me.

My feelings regarding the construction of my life plan was the third question I answered. Here I took into account the influence of the closest and most important people for me, especially that of my parents. However, the answer I basically give is that, if I feel and I have felt free when building my life plan, it evidently develops more and I feel that I do it more and more independently.

Finally, I shared with what philosophical posture is I agree with and I think it describes my way of thinking better. For me it is with the thought of Aristotle and a bit of theophrast. And as I described above, the meaning of life and my most desired goal for me is to find happiness in oneself.
