Similarities between Serena and Jesse Holliver
Contrasting Serena and Jesse Holliver, it is no furtive that Ron Rash’s Serena is extremely comparable characters in similarity to Jesse in The Tilted World. These two characters are analogous in the way that they are driven, malicious, and cold-blooded persons who are obsessed by their adoration for their marriages. Serena never displays emblematic female conducts and it makes the readers to be fascinated by her intentions and dealings. In Rash’s Serena, the narrator portrays how the Pemberton’s and the workers are currently wrecking land for their timber business.
The authors claim a further primary manner that these two characters bear a resemblance to each other is in their acts of evil. Serena and Jesse are depicted as insidious and noxious since both of them are ready to accomplish whatsoever it takes to achieve their ambitions. Killing people is not a problem for Serena, innocent or not, as long as it fuels their own advancement (Rash 27).
