Space exploration and economic development

Introduction

There are many economic factors that have been studied throughout history, but great advances in spatial study have been observed, capable of demonstrating that they are the present and economic future of society. Therefore, the state’s investment in the spatial study leads to the country’s economic-technological development.

Space domain has allowed the hegemony of some countries over others, both in military, civic and economic aspects. Financial support for special research has shown positive results in the human and economic development of the countries involved. A clear example of this is the hegemony implanted by the United States during and at the end of the Cold War, also known as space career, where the importance of spatial study and its relationship with the development of a country is evident.

Developing

That said, "the competition for the conquest of space as euphemism of superiority between the United States and the Soviet Union meant an exponential development in technological matters worldwide". In addition, today countries like China are projecting the extraction of resources outside the land orbit, due to the overexploitation of resources, Barreña Express:

"The estimates of their useful life are alarming: with the pace of current consumption, we will run out of oil in 2052, without gas in 2060 and without coal in 2088". Which in turn, leads to long -term profitable alternatives for the marketing of resources extracted from space and the improvement of the country’s economy.

Wait! Space Exploration And Economic Development paper is just an example!

Some ensure that the space race was a negative element for Soviet economic development, being the trigger for the destruction of the USSR. In a work entitled Crisis of Soviet Socialism: discrepancies between ideology and power, Saldarriaga affirms: “Divergence and incompatibility between socialist ideology and the way of exercising it once its leaders accessed power, it was the main cause for the fall of the communist regime Soviet".

Here is the ideology and bad fulfillment of power by commanders. In addition, important points should be considered, such as internal civil wars, which are triggering sources for the decay of a state. Therefore, it cannot be affirmed that the investment of the Soviet Union in the spatial study, in order to win the Cold War, was the cause of its decline. On the other hand, the scientific and technological advances achieved by the USSR at that time raised the foundations for more countries to join the spatial domain, seeking technological and economic advance.

conclusion

With the aspects raised, it is demonstrated that the spatial study is the current key for the economic development of a State against another and thus develop competences by a spatial domain. It is undeniable that today’s society is exhausting its resources, has a futuristic point of view with respect to outside space and that every country seeks to improve its economy through the most feasible route they consider. For the Ecuadorian State must invest in space research, then only in this way will it be prepared for the estimated events in the future, with an economy that resembles the great current powers.
