The infrastructure of the sport refers to the physical development that are meant to be used as part and parcel of a sporting activity. This infrastructure varies from discipline to discipline and has a different specification. While some sports infrastructure are used to supplement the sporting activity, some are considered an integral part of eth sporting activity and thus must be guaranteed for the sporting activity. Soccer has the best and most expensive infrastructure that is used to make it a success. This is also facilitated by a large number of soccer fanatics who make it necessary to develop such infrastructure of the sport. Although it may be an expensive venture for a country, the rewards of such investment in sports infrastructure are diverse.
The infrastructure of the sport is a crucial part of training soccer players to become professional sportsmen. Witzig, argues that any professional training requires equipment and tools that are useful in training. Besides, professional training has rules and regulations that govern its implementation all over the world. The infrastructure of the sport is thus an important part of the training process to achieve professional sportsmen. It also helps the soccer players familiarize themselves with the real expectation while they go for international competition and tournaments Infrastructure for the sport, especially those designed for soccer is used as a measure of how well one can perform at the international level of soccer competition.

The process of constructing the infrastructure of the sport for soccer must be approved by the international sports federations FIFA. There is some sports infrastructure that vary from discipline to discipline. These include equipment, tracks, stadiums and other facilities that are specifically tailored for each discipline. A sportsman who intends to excel in sports will have to familiarize himself or herself with the standard infrastructure of the sport he or she intend to venture in. The infrastructure of the sports is built with similar architectural design to ensure that the specifications of the facilities are similar in size and design. However, the physical plan of the exterior parts and the interior decoration may vary depending on the taste and preference of the developer. Additionally, the capacity of the sports infrastructure will depend on the exterior architectural design. However, international sports associations have the authority to dictate the recommended maximum capacity of the infrastructure of sports. This authority helps the international sports association guarantee security and health for all participants of sports whether spectator or player.
The infrastructure of the sports is designed to ensure that the place set aside for training and the actual sports activity is clearly distinguishable. Besides, the infrastructure of sports is designed to accommodate the spectators and sports participants in designated areas to avoid any form of commotion that may interrupt the normal sports activity. A lot of safety measure are observed when designing the infrastructure of sports. The spacing of the place that will carry the spectators is important to guarantee safety in case of an emergency. Ventilation, emergency kits, and firefighting kit are part of the safety measures that are taken into consideration when designing the infrastructure of sports. Moreover, entrances and exits are separated and made wide as possible to ensure order in the continuous movement of people in and out of the infrastructure of sports.
Whether the infrastructure of sports plays a key role in making sports person become professional sports personality is a question that is debatable. However, the reality of this argument can be analyzed by comparing three countries that have the best infrastructure of sports in the world and then trying to analyze their performance in sports at international level. Additionally, the number of professional sports persons produced by these countries with being compared with the other countries that have not had any sports facility at all. From this comparison, it will be possible to determine how the infrastructure of sports help create professional sports personalities for all participants in sports.
Reck & Bruce notes that for a soccer player to be considered a professional sports person, he or she must be well conversant with the game itself. This will only be possible if the soccer player is exposed to soccer infrastructure that will give him an opportunity to train and learn the necessary skills. Besides, soccer infrastructure is necessary for one to become a style icon thus fit the definition of a professional sports person. Besides, a professional sports person must look incredible and have the antic of the game. This is a personality that can only be acquired through the help of soccer infrastructure that is used to train and prepare the players for a professional sports career.
Take for instance the case of Germany, Russia and England who have a different level of development regarding the infrastructure of sports. Thus, it is expected that the effect of these sports infrastructure to soccer players in these three different countries will be different. However, it is important to first of all analyze the level of infrastructural endowment each of these three countries have before discussing the effect they have to soccer player and how they help the soccer player become professional sport personalities.
Reck & Bruce argue that Germany is the most advance country among the three regarding sports infrastructure. This great achievement in German’s sports infrastructure is attributed to the favorable sports policy the country has adopted for the last ten years. German has hosted several international football tournaments and has repeatedly won international titles in football competitions. Besides, Germany holds the highest number of league competition with the highest number of clubs participating. In fact, it a policy in Germany to make football a compulsory sports activity at all levels of education. This has worked well for Germany earning it a lot of talented soccer players who end up joining the list of professional sports persons. Additionally, the number of titles held by german players on the international scene is large. All these achievements are attributed to the well-developed infrastructure of soccer in German.
Following Germany in the list is England that has an equally good infrastructure of sports although not as developed as Germany. The training and mentorship program that England has initiated is credited for the success the England has achieved concerning infrastructure of the sports. It has hosted various world cup tournaments and has on several occasions emerged the winner of the tournament
According to Parrish, Charles & Nauright, England is known for its competitive premier league matches that draw fanatics from across the world. In fact, it is the world’s famous football league and has the highest number of supporters. Also, the football league in the UK has numerous division given the number of football clubs that are willing to participate. The reason for this great enthusiasm for soccer is the well-developed infrastructure for soccer thus ensuring that both training, practice, and participation is soccer matches is well coordinated and meets the standards of FIFA. In the end, England has managed to produce the highest number of celebrated football stars and professional sports personalities in the world
It is of great importance to bring to awareness that majority of the professional sportspersons who today occupy various ranks as international coaches, club managers, and sports moderators are former players and members of the England national team. Also, the number of football players who have won international titles of the best player of the year and top scorers in various leagues and tournaments all comes from England. Plenderleith, argue that this achievement by football players from England is a clear indicator of the role played by the infrastructure of soccer to the success of soccer players and their qualification as professional sports persons.
The last country in this list is Russia that is rated slightly below England regarding the infrastructure of sports. Although Russia is lagging behind in terms of the development of the infrastructure of sports as compared to Germany, it has invested in the youth. Russia has specifically tapped the talent of the youth and is rolling out a number of the program to ensure that sports talent especially soccer is nature to perfection. The results from Russia in terms of the infrastructure of the sports are however negative and quite discouraging. This could be the reason why it is the last in the list. Even though Russia is least endowed with the infrastructure of soccer, it has equally produced some top performing football players who end up becoming professional sports persons. Besides, Russia had hosted some international tournaments and equally won a few competitors. Scott, & Shropshire, Asserts that notwithstanding all these achievements, Russia still lags behind the England and German regarding achievement in football and subsequent production of celebrated soccer players who end up becoming professional sports persons.. This may be mainly because Russia has not embraced the idea of investing in soccer infrastructure and thus cannot produce professional sportspersons
In conclusion, the infrastructure of the sport most important in soccer players becoming professional sportsmen. This has been clearly discussed in the paper will reference to the UK, German, and England as the case studies. It is also true that the other countries who never have been successful in soccer as the three case studies have little to do with the infrastructure of soccer. Thus, this is seen as the main reason for the few of no professional sports person in the international scene from these less fortunate countries. Thus, any country that is willing to produce professional sports person must give infrastructure of the sports a priority and develop them as a much as possible. This will also lead to an increase in the number of soccer players in the long run. As competition increases among players from a particular country, so does the need for infrastructure of soccer and thus increasing the likelihood of a country producing professional sports person. It is true to the tone of this discussing that professional sports personalities are not born but created, however, they can only be molded into professional sports person if the right infrastructure I used to change their skills into professional skills through training. It is at this point that we concur that the infrastructure of the sport most important in soccer players becoming professional sportsmen.
