The two essentially distinctive types of conflict are Al Qaeda and the United States. Al Qaeda, with its foundation in the Islamic manner of war, battles an existential, dramatic kind of war and the U.S, with its foundation in the western manner of war, depends on a nearly absolutely influential kind of fighting. The article represents as to how both edges’ means of war are congregating towards one another. One of the arguments that stood out the most to me is the fact that the US is turning out to be overpoweringly involved in its method to war. The bombast of the warfare against Al Qaeda and connected wide-reaching dread officialdoms hints towards an opinion that war is no more about definable early stages and conclusions however instead is a continuous element for the US, that it is existential. Also, the strategy and policies of America are progressively shifting toward representative content and recognition of connectedness (Vince, 2008, p.13).
Another argument is that the utilization of emotional and broadcasting processes in the military of America has become dominant to its war. America also appears to be taking into consideration more of a consciousness of imagery in its plan and campaigns. The army has a growing comprehension of the part that the media has in war and this understanding has moved far outside solely dispersing falsehood and sustaining soldierly mysteries confidential. As a consequence, the army has started to view media as dominant to prolong the war and a war in common.

For instance, the black or grey publicity, somewhat which can be effortlessly assumed in the structure of the scam focused method of Islamic war (Vince, 2008, p.15). Hence, America is stirring back toward a more existential, communicative tactic.
