Discussion 1
In historical contents, various factors influenced the Texas revolution. For instance, many individuals have blamed Santa Anna reign for misruling Texas through the use of ruthless dictatorship that subsequently influenced the Tejanos and Angelo-American to rebel (Crisp, 37). Additionally, other factors also influenced the Texas insurrection to occur.
Firstly, the expansionist trail of the United States was also a major reason behind Mexico losing the Texas and other key states like Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, California, Nevada, and Arizona (Crisp, 93). The expansion plan for the United States was already in place long before the outbreak of the American independence war. The expansion plan was based on making the country a transcontinental country that stretches from the Pacific to the Atlantic (Crisp, 103). They also wanted to spread the American divine mission that was based on bringing civilization and Christianity to entire North America continent. The United States was consistently increasing in size, and people wanted to ensure this trend was always taking place. More ever, the cheap sale of unoccupied land made people migrate to Texas. The settlers were given land at a low price $1.25 per acre while the minimum tract of land sold was 80 acre (Crisp, 156). They also gave land on credit.
Secondly, the post-revolutionary war in Mexico also made the Texas insurrection to occur. After Mexicans had gained independence from the Spanish government, many Mexican citizens were inspired to move to back to Mexico in the hope of solidifying their new-won country through establishing a government made by their decedents (Crisp, 148).

In Texas, there was a lot of economic confusion on the currency authentic to be used in purchasing things. For instance, the British soldiers were still around, the Americans were also present, and the Mexico government was in place. This made the Texan economy to be shambled. The Mexico government at that time was primarily concerned with internal matters, and they neglected Texas. Therefore, this made Tejanos and Anglo-American know how to proceed further away independently from Mexico City (Crisp, 177).
Thirdly, racial prejudice caused tension between Anglo settlers and the Mexican citizens. In this scenario, both of them felt that they were the superior race. Fourthly, cultural differences also influenced the conflict between the Anglo-Mexican relationships. For example, it was challenging for the Anglos to learn how to speak the Spanish language that was used in any business market (Crisp, 205). Additionally, Anglos were synonymously associated with Methodist or Baptist while the Mexicans were mostly fundamentalist Roman Catholicism and Protestant group and this caused tension. The judicial system also caused tension. For instance, the Anglos used English common law while Mexican utilized Napoleonic code judicial system (Crisp, 232). Finally, government difference caused many Mexicans and Anglos to refuse the changes highlighted on Siete Leyes that gave all power to Santa Anna, the leader of Mexico (Crisp, 236). This leader was a dictator, and many Mexicans opt for a decentralized power system.

Personally, I am from an Irish origin because my great-grandparents emigrated from Ireland. Currently, we do not know any relative in Ireland, but we usually trace that country as our ancestral land. For years, the United States accepted emigrates from other countries without any blame or complaints. However, the aspect of Latino immigrants is brought significant issues based on prejudice and economic sabotage blame. Many American officials condemn Latino immigrants for creating huge financial deficits in the American economy. For example, many Mexicans immigrants and American of Hispanic origin participant in the retail financial service market (Huntington, 1). Therefore, they tend to be less banked than the other native population, and this makes it had for the government when they collect income taxes. Additionally, many Latinos accumulate money in their homes. This causes many security issues such as increased criminal activities. It also creates huge financial deficits because massive amounts of money are unaccounted for by financial institutions (Huntington, 1).
More ever, the successful reduction of Latino immigrates will guarantee more fund for the low-income American citizens. The concept of national language is not adopted in Anglo-American states (Huntington, 1). Therefore, the decreased immigrate rate will ensure that the debate based on condemning the use of Spanish language on national government agenda will subside. Additionally, the Bilingual Education program will disappear if Latino illegal immigration is controlled (Huntington, 1). Lastly, the chances of a de facto separation between the predominantly English-speaking the United States against the Spanish- speaking individuals of the United States will be avoided.

Consequently, the election of Donald Trump will not specifically impact Taxes as a state. More ever, campaign position, possible appointees and position offered by Trumps will not necessary impact Texas but the entire United States in general (Painter, 1). There is a high possibility that Trump`s administration will revise trade agreements as promised during the campaign. President-elect Trump is equipped with economic skills that will make him avoid disastrous protectionism business deals (Painter, 1). Hence, this will save Texan from economic scrambles. In addition to that, Texas will benefit from the charter school and private school vouchers expansion promised in Trump`s administration.
Contrarily, the Trump government has guaranteed that the School Choice and Education Opportunity Act and the Texas community will be free from redirect federal education dollars (Painter, 1). This will give parents cheaper rates to educate their children in private, magnet, religious, public, charter and home schools. Secondly, Texas will benefit from the Property Tax Reform offered by Trump`s government (Prazan, 1). The Texans population pays the sixth highest property related taxes in the entire nation. Therefore, many people will be saved from losing their home in regards to taxes. Thirdly, the Women`s Privacy Act will benefit the Texans female population (Prazan, 1). This law will ensure girls and women will have safety and privacy in their restrooms, locker rooms, and showers. The benefit experienced in Texas will be similar to that experienced in other states such as California (Prazan, 1). Even though some law and amendments have a tendency of benefiting certain states compared to others based on the economic status and natural resource in place, the property Tax Reform will benefit California more than Texas (Painter, 1). This is because properties invest are high in that state compared to Texas and they will benefit more.

Modern Texas is redefined with a complex interplay of varying institutional, historical, geographical, economic, and social forces. This has somehow changed the way Texan people think. However, the idea of conservativeness has been projected in this state. In regards to political culture, Texans have three combined philosophical streams that are social conservatism, classical liberalism, and populism (Lipset, 154). In classical liberalism, Texans always agree on politics that allow the practice of individual liberty that is not somehow restrictively in nature. In Texas, this concept has allowed people to have civil liberties and be religious tolerance. Additionally, this concept has allowed Texans to break the barriers of gender and race discriminations. For example, Oveta Culp Hobby and Barbara are examples of activists from Texas who defend gender and race equality (Lipset, 302).
In social conservatism, it is based on embracing old hierarchical social relations that dictate social changes as a potential threat to existing beliefs and practices (Lipset, 189). Texans have a tendency of using the authority to reinforce traditional social affairs. This also includes the ultimate respect for traditional public figures like the military, businesspeople, and religious leaders. In the past, the Texans were committed to the Democratic Party until recent decades that they shifted to the Republican Party sides where they have remained loyal to date (Lipset, 204). In Populism, it is a concept based on concerned on the well being of the common citizens (Lipset, 206). This system ensures that the government is actively controlling the economy and the society. Additionally, this system also tends to be conservative in nature since it is based on what appeals to the society rather than the real ideology the politician is presenting. This system has been used by politicians in Texas to set policies that appeal to poor farmers, the upper and middle-class Texans (Lipset, 218). From this analysis, it can be stated that Texans are conservative in nature even though they have a small potential of changing.

Simultaneously, the 2010-2012 Texas redistricting effort was rejected on the basis of illegalities (Ross, 1). Many legal experts considered it illegitimate because it was structured on the foundation of a discriminatory machine that was aimed at decreasing the popularity of Latino voters. The rejected redistricting policy offered four districts with four new congressional seats that were developed to dilute power for minority voters or the rapidly growing minority societies in Texas (Ross, 1). Subsequently, the best solution to Texas redistricting agenda is to increase the Voting Right Act to overlap the desired limit mention by Congress and in the Constitution. Additionally, the Attorney General should initiate a process to appeal for Taxes flawed decision in the U.S. Supreme Court (Ross, 1). The Texans officials should draw a new map, or they can allow the court to perform this duty for them.
