This story is narrated in the third person and non -linear, because he jumps in time: he tells when he was a child, when he has his first wife, when he becomes a chief and others. On the other hand, it should be taken into account that dialogues and monologues contribute something to history, especially those of Pedro Paramo, but they usually work more to give an atmosphere in the novel.
