Over the last decade, drones have become an integral part of technological advancement in the western countries and the Asian region. In a technical perspective, drones are unmanned aerial automotive machines popularly identified as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). In this case, a drone is a special type of an aircraft of any size that flies on its own or in the absence of an onboard pilot but rather controlled remotely or autonomously. Over time, drones have always been considered as warfare machinery until recently when its application has been expounded to include commercial delivery of goods to consumers.
The application of drones has had mixed reactions on its actual effectiveness in the betterment of the human life. Besides the recent hype concerning the use of drones in commercial delivery services and as an intelligence gathering tool, these unmanned vehicles pose a greater threat to the common people as compared to their advantages. With an expected significant increase in the number of drones flying in the United States airspace, there have been growing concerns regarding the privacy of the American people. In this case, it is reported that these drones can be used to spy on the Americans without approval from the relevant authorities. It is feared that these unmanned vehicles can be used by the military personnel to monitor the American civilians unlawfully. Development of armed military drones has also raised concerns from the human rights to watch groups and the United Nations concerning the civilian casualties attributed to the application of these drones in war areas and anti-terrorism activities.

Pakistan, for instance, has been identified as a major hotspot for civilian deaths attributed to drone strikes by the United States. As such, despite the few merits associated with the application of these drones, it is clear that they end causing more harm than good (Hassan, 2014).

Hybrid war involves the employment of conventional, unconventional, regular and irregular military strategies rather than employing the traditional military strategies during the war. Additionally, hybrid war includes the use of modern information technology tools and cyber warfare in military expeditions. In the recent years, the employment of hybrid tactics has been adopted as a way of avoiding conventional military missions which could eventually lead to a significant loss of military personnel and infrastructure.
In Lebanon war, the kind of military confrontations between the Hezbollah military group and the Israel Defense Forces was far away from common conventional war. Besides the superiority of the Israel Defense Forces, the Hezbollah fighters employed hybrid warfare tactics which posed a huge challenge to the Israelites. The Hezbollah military engaged the IDF into guerilla warfare accompanied with conventional military tactics which met them as a surprise. In some instances, the Hezbollah fighters would position themselves in high-density civilian settlement to counter the IDF common tactics during the war. In a way, the IDF fighters looked disorganized unready in the Lebanon war. In a realist approach, it is important to note that the IDF matched into the war without any idea of the type of tactics that the Hezbollah fighters were adopting. In this case, their normal conventional and regular military tactics were unable to counter the hybrid threats from their opponents (Johnson, 2014). 
As stated earlier, the main aim of adopting the hybrid adversaries during the war is to keep the levels of pain and suffering below levels of normal traditional military routines. However, Hezbollah suffered greatly from this war. Besides waging a well-planned and articulated war to the IDF, a large number of Hezbollah fighters and civilian lost their lives during the war. More than 1,200 people from Lebanon were reported to have lost their lives with only 165 Israelites dying during the war. Additionally, millions of Lebanon civilians were displaced as a result of the war.
