Identification of the Project
Following the successful implementation of the iTriageR smartphone application, HMH needs to expand the application to ensure that it contains all the medical information that customers want to know about illnesses, their symptoms, and treatment, as well as where to find the drugs. The paper provides a SWOT analysis for the initiative to allow the organization to use the project to adjust its operations and improve its functioning as observed by Valkanos et al. (2009).
Internal and External Factors
According to Gretzky (2010), the internal factors that would affect the feasibility and development of the initiative include the availability of highly skilled and knowledgeable medical staff to provide the information, commitment to the initiative, success of the initial launch of the application, and availability of IT infrastructure and equipment to run the system. The external factors that would affect the feasibility and development of the initiative include increased demand for the services of the application, the rapidly expanding metropolitan community, growth of online programs that offer healthcare services, as well as competition from other healthcare providers that decide to launch the program.
The Financial Benefits
The initiative will enable the organization to tap into busy customers especially during summer seasons thus increasing its revenues (HMH, 2018).

The initiative will ensure that clients have convenient and quick access to the medical information that they require concerning treatment options and medical services.
Additional Resources for the initiative
Developing the initiative will require the hiring of additional IT professionals to update the system (WHO, 2004). It will also require the purchase of new IT equipment such as servers and computers to accommodate the additional information load and user traffic.
