ANALYSIS OF THE SPANISH EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

After reading the recommended reading, I am preparing to analyze the current educational system that corresponds to us, the Spanish education system, understanding education as a fundamental right that guarantees the full development of people throughout life, not only in thecognitive aspect, but in all aspects: ethical-moral, emotional-affective, ..

In the first place, I would say that to perform a complete analysis of the current education system we must take into account the systems that have preceded it chronologically, not forgetting the political, social and economic characteristics of the moment in which they were designed, modified or suppressed.

Analyzing from my point of view not very professional, taking into account the keys of analysis provided, the current Spanish education system, I can say:

It is a conservative system as long as fundamental values and principles work such as respect, solidarity, equality, such as more identity such as knowledge of heritage, historical legacy, local, autonomic, universal identity,… it is an innovative systemand integrative, in which the knowledge of the environment and the increasingly plural society in which we live, in which the media-resources for the knowledge and domain of both the t of the T.Yo.C and of foreign languages increasingly at earlier age, facilitating normalization in their use and helping to acquiring the competencies collected in the common European framework for both students and teachers. The quality of education is prevail, trying to educate people for full development, encouraging the autonomy of the individual and learning from education.

In terms of productivity-value, I fear that we are very influenced by other educational systems in which the competition between peers is promoted, even being our friendliest or sensitive educational system that, I think we must make special emphasis on safeguarding values such as social assets such as social assets, such as teamwork, collaborative work, the search for the common good, I think that today it is a pending subject, being co -responsible all members of the educational community.
