Task 1
Stereotypic behaviors in a miniature dog breed are abnormal and repetitive behavior in an animal breed. The animal breed gets used to the behaviour, and it often shows the trait on numerous occasions. Miniature Schnauzers have terrier traits including excessive barking, carelessly chasing anything, suspicion especially towards strangers, charging at larger dogs, and sometimes they think they are large and energetic than they are in reality. Taming schnauzer with well-mannered behaviors depends on how the owner provides boundaries, maintains exercising and allows the dog to socialize extensively with other dogs and human beings (Tuber, David, and Deborah, 379). Barking is behavior among the miniature dogs that cannot be eliminated even after taking much of the time training the dog on the response. They are watchdogs whose barking act as the alarm to indicate that something is approaching or are in the surrounding. Since the dogs will always be ready to bark at very high sounds, it is the job of the owner to train the dog to learn obeying commands.
When you shout at the dog in some language, then it understands it will promptly stop barking, and you will save your eardrums. The schnauzers do not enjoy the company of small children since these children do not know that these dogs have boundaries. The older toddlers will play and engage the dogs, but they are in a position to recognize the change of mood in the dogs and keep a safe distance from the dog (Tuber, David, and Deborah, 379).

The behaviours mentioned above can occur among the miniature Schnauzer dog when they are not trained earlier enough to learn to obey commands. Sometimes the behaviours are some personality traits which cannot be eliminated for example barking since they are meant to sense danger and alert the owner. The dogs dig for fun and especially when they feel they are lonely and need to engage themselves in doing an activity.
Task 2
There are different categories of abnormal behaviours in the dog species mentioned in the above discussion. The miniature species has an aggressive behaviour of attacking even older dogs. The best strategy to apply is disciplining the dog by using active voice commands, and since the dogs are intelligent, you can reward them when they obey the commands. Avoid abusing the dog physically, but it is recommended to use a leash (Bacon, 7). When the dog becomes aggressive, you can issue a strong voice command that diverts him from being aggressive then later you can bring to the dog a reward that pleases him. Rewards are meant to make the dog understand that there is a good thing when he obeys commands and that will always be a culture that the dog will be conditioned to and will automatically change the behaviour.
The Miniature Schnauzer has the anxiety-related behaviour of feeling uncomfortable in the presence of strangers and therefore barks violently. The dog barks continuously with high sound which creates uncomfortable within the compound. There is need to decrease the anxiety of the dog by showing affection or prepare for the dog a room that has favourite items that pleases him and makes him forget the fear it has towards strangers (Bacon, 7). The items will keep him busy and make him happy until that moment it will be used with strangers. It is also advisable that the owner of the pet to try the use of DAP diffuser, which emits calming hormones for the dog that will only turn it on while you are not close to the dog. It implies that by the time the stranger is near the dog it remains calm and will only be active once again when the stranger is gone.
