Malnutrition is a problem that affects children and adolescents in Mexico in different ways. On the one hand, malnutrition during childhood has negative impacts on the rest of life, such as low sizes and insufficient development of the immune system. On the other hand, overweight and obesity favor the appearance of diseases such as diabetes, circulatory problems, heart or kidneys, serious repercussions that affect quality and life expectancy.

From birth, it is important to feed children in a correct way, as it is essential for good growth and development, promoting eating habits to prevent long -term diseases such as diabetes.

In the region and in the world, child malnutrition has a series of negative consequences such as a higher mortality rate, under performance during the learning stage of cognitive, social and emotional skills, under school performance and limited labor productivity in ageadult. This process collaborates with the intergenerational transmission of poverty and inequality in scarce families.

These aspects probably cause the child to be irresponsible at school or even leave it, in the long run it could be a disorganized adult without initiative and without the ability to maintain a fixed job.

It is more convenient for the child who adapts to this parameter since he could enjoy a better way his life.

There is no better way than adapting to children, from birth, to a good diet since it could be beneficial for them. Parents must be constant awareness, since poor diet (which includes obesity) is one of the first health problems in Mexico, placing us in the first places worldwide with childhood obesity.
