Leisure has long been considered an important aspect of life. This is drawn from the fact that leisure activities allow our minds to rest from the tiresome weekly routines and thereby improve our productivity (Im, Cho and Seok 129). Leisure activities often work to provide both a relieving and rejuvenating effect and hence enable us to optimize our productivity in our upcoming undertakings. Baseball has always been my favourite sport since my childhood days.
My childhood enabled me to interact with my peers in various ways. One form of interaction was sports. Our holidays and free times were packed with sports activities which were a platform for interaction and formation of strong friendship bonds. Of the many sports we played, baseball stood out as my personal favourite sport. Since the sport required exceptional skill and keenness, I decided to increase my contact hours with the sport. Ultimately I gained exceptional precision in playing this game. Importantly, my teachers and friends later noted my great talent in this sporting activity. For this reason, my interest in the game increased exponentially.
Baseball remains one of the most exciting sports in both the United States of America and the world. This is because, the game can often be played in limited settings which allow the players to modify the rules in order to meet their needs (Im, Cho and Seok 129). For this reason, it is considered a flexible and exciting game which can be played in any setting.

However, the main reason why this sport remains exceptional is the euphoric and satisfying feeling that it evokes among the players. This game inspires a sense of determination which is lacking in other sports. This is drawn from the competitive nature of the game.
