Working in the northern county legal services office is inserting a lot of pressure on the volunteers and the students due to the leadership style applied by Julie. The workers have no clear understanding on almost any activity carried out in the organization. Julie has an aristocratic leadership style where she does not concern herself with the views of others. The training she offers is not enough, and the issue raises concerns among the workers (Northouse 27). The workers seem to understand some procedures that Julie insists that they should be carried out, rather than practicing a democratic leadership style, Julie is self-reserved and does not seem to prioritize the queries of her workers despite the urgency of the matter at hand.
The organization depends on grants and charity to finance their activities; the grants are based on merit and development of the organization which do not seem to develop in the eyes of the employees. The organization has a deficit of workers and the space for doing business is also limited, the waiting area and the office seems to be overcrowded most of the time. Booking of clients is also a cause for concern where they feel that justice is also not followed. There is little teamwork and their leader Julie seems to be absent most of the time and does not pay attention to the needs of fellow workers resulting in a lack of a team leader. The organization can grow rapidly if the needs of the clients are taken care of through a system that everyone understands, and the style of leadership also changes where everyone’s views are taken into consideration especially the employees.

Organization development is growth in infrastructure and the growth of the employees regarding skills and experience. A system of booking the clients which the clients understands helps in improving the value of transparency while ensuring equality of the clients. On the other hand, an organization can grow without cooperation among the employees and their leaders which can be established through a well-established communication framework. The leadership style has to be changed to include all the individuals.
