Child development, both mentally and physically, is a very crucial part of human life. This is the stage where the weakness and strengths of a person are realized. This essay is about observation profiles of twenty preschoolers. I observed the children as they engaged in different activities in a preschool room. The observation included their interests, abilities, skills and some specific needs that they lacked. The preschoolers were between the ages of two and three years.
Sarah Mackenzie
She has art and craft skills and loves showing them off to her friends and even the teacher.
Needs: Improve her attention span
Cameron Isaacs
He loves playing jigsaw puzzle and other similar games.
He rarely talks and prefers a quiet environment.
Needs: encourage making friends
David Leo
He is very playful and is always engaged in any game with his friends. He does not tire easily while playing but rarely touches a book.
Needs: More encouragement when it comes to reading materials.
Ellie Eliana
She loves singing and is interested in music. She is always involved in any music activity. However, she gets irritated quickly and will often find her crying.
Needs: encourage to control her temper.
Samuel Connor
He is the most talkative of all the other students. He is social and very good at making friends.

He has musical skills and is interested in music activities. He always tries to come up with rhythm by hitting an object like a table.

Needs: Improve his listening skills
Jackson Aiden
He has very good listening skills and is interested in books. He, however, doesn’t feel comfortable with the rest of the kids’ maybe because he is shy.
Needs: Help to feel more comfortable and social with the rest of the kids Lucas Liam
He always observes what goes on around him. He told the rest of the kids to pray before eating during the lunch break. This shows that he had observed something back at home and had learned its significance.

Despite her being playful, she is shy and rarely interacts with a group of more than three kids. She likes staring at the pictures in the books and sometimes tries to pronounce some words in those books.

He is very good when it comes to art and craft activities. Modelling seems to be his passion and prefers doing this than playing with the other kids.

Program Ideas:There are various program ideas that will enhance the toddlers’ growth. Outdoor science exploration and games is a great way to break the class monotony and open up the child’s mind (De Chantal & Markovits, 2017). A child’s concentration is very fragile, and the moment you overwork them in the same place for a long time, their minds will stop incorporating any new stuff. The sticky shapes game is one activity that will enhance the learning of shapes without getting bored. Alphabet books and alphabet activities is a nice way of teaching the kids about alphabets without sounding strange to the young minds. Musical activities will also help in enhancing the child’s development. Apart from entertainment, you will be able to realize talents at an early stage. Toddlers love those little creatures, and a lesson about insects will be beneficial to them; it can be accompanied by using songs and games.
