I will talk about what volunteering is all about, about the needs of our community, how you cam help, the career benefits of volunteering and personal benefits derived from it then what scripture says about volunteering.
Transition: Let’s get into it, shall we?
Body:
Main Point 1. Every community has a continuing problem that affects us in one way or another. Volunteering is service to the community that is done with the intention of giving back without expecting any benefits in return.
Many families live below a dollar, hence poverty and cannot afford some basic needs like food and shelter on a daily basis. Some of them survive on donations or throwaways.
The local agency also said that they are in need of more canned food which you can be part of by encouraging your workmates to donate a few cans.
This can be done through volunteering at an old vocational center or running a campaign to help raise money for these groups of people.
Another example is when students work for an organization with the cause of raising money for the less fortunate.
Being part of volunteering program is all about making the lives of others better like the ASU student volunteers at a children’s hospice on weekly shifts (ASU students volunteer at a children’s hospice, 2018). This institution is dedicated to providing quality end-of-life care to children in partnership with Arizona State University students.
Transition: That said; let’s talk about what you get out of this.
Main Point 2. Volunteering brings about great personal and health benefits.
It gives your happiness and boosts self-esteem which is proven by a study by Journal of Adolescence (Helping strangers may help teens self-esteem, 2018). Additionally, engaging n these activities helps to reduce stress levels since one becomes mentally and physically active. Also, interactions with others help you to connect with people and mentors with whom you can share your problems with (Health benefits of volunteering|create the good, 2018). Also, it helps you gain leadership and problem-solving skills that are of value in your careers.
Lastly, it connects you to mentors that will become good referees in future.
Transition: This brings me to my last point, the reference to scripture which I believe we may not be familiar with, no?
Main Point 3. Volunteering is a great platform to promote Christian value as per scripture.
God expects us to be his work on earth
1 Corinthians 3:9, 2 Corinthians 6:1, Colossians 3:23-24, Mathew 25:40
God wants us to give to the less fortunate
Luke 6:35, Acts 20:35, Isaiah 58:10, Philippians 2:1, 1 Peter 4:10, Acts 20:35, Philippians 2:4
God will reward those who give
Proverbs 11:25, Hebrews 6:10, Luke 6:38
Transition: With that, allow me to conclude.
Conclusion:
Summary
Community service will help in keeping yourself fit as well as establishing your career wise while at the same time help you to spread Gods word and uphold Christian values.
Refocus Audience Attention (see the textbook, pp. 251–256).
All of you are competent volunteers since it does not need any experience, you just have to tap into it and get involved. What I have said is just a few of the many things you will get to reap from this cause as you give back to the community.

I need to work a lot; that’s why I really didn’t have a single minute to focus on my thesis writing. These guys from Essay-samples are real saviors. I don’t know how they knew what my professor expected to receive, but they definitely succeeded.
