The internet contains more resources and material like interactive lessons that can help enhance experiences. Some lessons can be provided over the internet thus reducing the cost and time of commuting to school. Additionally, tests, homework, and collaboration with students can all be performed using the internet. The internet is a source of vast amounts of information that is available by merely searching. Consequently, it has replaced libraries as a source of information for studies and research. The internet allows instant communication between peers thus enabling efficient collaboration without meeting face to face among other benefits. Furthermore, the internet has enhanced accessibility to free lectures and education to impoverished communities.
How the Internet Impacts our Daily LivesThe internet has impacted various aspects of our daily lives such as finance, and source of information, communication, shopping, and performing multiple tasks (Carli & Durkee, 2016). The internet has meant functions like checking emails and notifications can be completed very fast. Also, the internet is used to order items online on various websites like Amazon. These shopping sites are characterized by massive discounts making it the most affordable and convenient method of shopping.

Moreover, the internet is a fast and free communication tool on sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Skype which are standard for personal and professional goals. The internet has allowed people to work and provide services remotely on websites like Upwork.com and Freelancer. The internet has enhanced money management using tools available online. The internet has brought with it the cashless technology through internet banking and e-wallets which means there is no need to carry money.
How the Internet is Used ProfessionallyThe internet is the best tools for professional development especially for beginning professionals since it allows for access to relevant resources. Additionally, the web the internet is an excellent source of information on the code of practice and policy documents which assist professionals to learn about their profession quickly. Consequently, the primary use of the internet for a professional is to download information and resources that are associated directly with their practice (Carli & Durkee, 2016). A majority of professionals prefer face-to-face professional development activities, but sometimes distance and cost make it impossible. Therefore, the internet has evolved into a source of online courses, seminars, lectures and credit points for professional accreditation. Email is also used as a way to maintain professional contact and to engage in professional conversations. Moreover, collaborative websites are a convenient way of giving and receiving expert support and advice. Furthermore, several online platforms allow mentoring and communication with more experienced colleagues.
How the Internet Applies to Future Career The internet is a technological tool that adds limitless possibilities to developing one’s career. The internet is crucial in enriching skills in a chosen profession, enhancing learning, encouraging efficient work practices, managing projects, and augmenting one’s network (Carli & Durkee, 2016). The internet can be used as a way to build active and supportive business networks using networking tools such as LinkedIn. Also, the internet helps manage projects in a collaborative manner where all member of the team can access the project plan and provide activity updates. The internet has been used to enhance learning by providing access to the best minds in any profession such as TED videos.
