Business ventures are usually faced with various risky events that are unexpectedly ranging from internal to external. The common types of risks include natural calamities, loss of capital due to theft, and physical injuries to the staff, visitors or customers in the business premises among others. No business type or locality that is exceptional from being impacted with these detrimental occurrences, ergo while the management is indulging in a new business, running existing venture awareness on the potentially catastrophic losses should be considered. As a business risks analyst, my primary objective is to be a part of the solution for such business-related issues. However, in pursuit of the career goal, I would be enthusiastic to study in such a perfect dream educational institution like Simon Business School where I would advance my skills in Business Analytics.
Currently, am a student an international student from Shanghai, China in Tippie College of Business where am taking a finance course, Business Analytics. I have a firm belief that financial risk management is equally vital in the financial world, thus through studying the Masters in Risk Analytics will play a role in the achievement of my short-term goal to be a risk analyst in the large financial firms. Besides, I will also be in opposition to achieve my long-term goal of rising to be a mid-level risk manager and eventually be a chief risk officer. On the other hand, the business administration would be an exceptional position that I would be comfortable to start with as I work towards my goal.

Business administration and risk management are entirely inseparable; hence it would be a relatively favorable position partially work. Necessarily, it would supplement the knowledge and experience essential for business risk management career.
I had also taken a course in Risk Management which has triggered my urge to have a contribution towards a risk-free world, especially in the business. Alongside majoring in the Business Analytics in the Tippie College of Business Studies, these education experiences have given me an urge to love business analytics even more. I have excelled in the previous courses well since business risk management is my passion. Simon College of Business, Rochester University has a slogan that states ‘’uncovering the patterns that motivate and drive markets.’’ This perfectly matches with my vision of uncovering the patterns to fix risk problem through application of the business analytic skills. Since I came to find this correspondence in the goals, I found it the best place to develop my skills. Moreover, this institution is well known for its well-established reputation for offering high-quality business-related education to its students who becomes very iconic in their business ventures and employment.
I would passionately appreciate if I will be granted this opportunity, which is significantly vital, not only for my personal career goals but also for the most of the business owners who will be at the disposal of my services. Additionally, my deep-hearted devotion in study and application of business risk management will be a propelling power in the institution and future employment.
