Personal Business Plan
Name:
Institution:
Abstract
The paper is a personal business plan (PBP). Its purpose is to develop a strategic plan that I should take to achieve my career and educational goals. It is divided into three parts that capture the critical phases of implementing the business plan. The first phase discusses my vision and opportunities available. It is guided by my vision, which is ‘to find a challenging position in a high quality engineering environment, where I can use my extensive knowledge and high-level skills to benefit the organization and myself’. It also contains my purpose, mission, and values. The second part of the paper contains my marketing and implementation strategy. This part is guided by my market positioning statement. It also comprises of my compelling value I offer to the company and the society, and an explanation showing how different I am to the other students. Thirdly, the paper discusses the risks I am bound to experience and the mitigation plans that I will employ. Finally, I narrate a failure I have experienced in my life, what I learned from it, and how I am going to apply the lesson in implementing my personal business plan.
Personal Business Plan
Vision and Opportunity
My career goals after I leave the University is to find a challenging position in a high-quality engineering environment where I can use my extensive knowledge and high-level skills to benefit the organization and myself. My purpose is to live a fruitful life in every way possible.

Wait! Spanish Restaurant paper is just an example!

I value resilience, hard work, challenges, and maintaining professionalism at all times. My mission is to advance myself in life to become a highly valuable and indispensable human capital that beats all odds and emerges the best in everything I do. I am guided by three important questions that include if I can dream it, why can’t I achieve it? If others can do it, what can stop me? How can I make an impact? With these questions, I am always on my toes finding their answer. The benefit of these life questions is the achievement of my much-desired vision and missions.
I have a big opportunity and broad market to develop myself as a brand. The most important factor I consider is determining the opportunities available so that I can customize myself to befit it. In this regard, there is a high deficit of information technology and business solutions professionals in the Engineering field. Moreover, the market extends to all the other fields which make me marketable and presents many opportunities for me to exploit. The information technology services are important in all business as all businesses are increasingly turning to technological innovations for seamless operations and accountability (Piatt, 2014). Therefore, through the power of innovation I have learned in school and the applications of my skills, I can use innovations to provide business solutions in all sectors.
Marketing and Implementation Strategy
The market positioning statement is important for me just like it is for any other business. It spells my unique selling points and shows my value to the customers. My statement will be, ‘The ultimate innovator for all your business solutions, I have that innovative experience that will have your engineering firm spiraling above your competitors.’ The statement has my core group of customers as a business, a specific category of competition in Engineering companies, Innovation in providing business solutions as the benefit for the firms and the innovation experience as the reason for firms to source my services (Nielsen, 2016). I will offer my employers and the society authentic and dedicated services aimed at ensuring that everything I excel for the company’s good. The pursuit of excellence will be my best-selling point to both the employers and the society. I will not be any other student, my work experience at ADNOC companies shows great achievements in the innovation and implementation of business solutions. Therefore, I will offer not only high education achievements but also a vast experience in the trade. I will stand out in the society as a results oriented individual aimed at providing the different solutions to various societal problems.
Risks and Mitigation
The key milestones in my plan are studying for my master’s degree and getting a highly competitive position in a high-quality engineering environment. The two milestones will mark the start of the plan. I will also mark other milestones with each successive innovation and business solution provided and most importantly, rise through the positions to become a senior person in the firm. I define success as the attainment of an aim or desire and not the monetary gains that come from each activity. Therefore, I will celebrate each success as a milestone. Moreover, I plan to be ethical in my practice. I have to do my best to ensure that the task that the firm needs me to perform is done to the best of my abilities. That way, I will be certain that my success is genuine hence attain contentment from my achievements. Nevertheless, external factors such as high competition among students, lack of an opportunity to work in my desired field among others may derail the plan (Fukuda, 2014). However, since the market is broad, I will settle for other fields, and still offer my innovative business solutions.
However, I cannot discard the prospects of failure in my endeavor. For instance, in my first year at the University, I failed a unit, which was contrary to my expectations. I was very disappointed in my performance that I contemplated not studying for the rest of my units. However, I overcame the anger and frustrations and studied hard earning myself a great GPA in the process. Similarly, I might fail in my endeavors, but I will still strive to be the best in the industry. Finally, I can summarize my PBP in the following six words, ‘Competitive, innovation oriented, human capital, highly-skilled, ethical employee,”
